My Reality

Hi there! I’m Kirsty May Brown, a Certified Somatic Sexological Bodyworker (CSB) & Certified Embodiment Coach based in London.

I am a highly trained, experienced and specialised holistic trauma-informed practitioner with lived experience of neurodivergence (AuDHD), body based trauma and burnout.

I operate my practice with the utmost respect for comfort and transparency. Clients regularly express gratitude for my ability to hold space without judgement in a manner of honour, kindness and care.

I have many varied interests and areas of expertise, including ethical spiritualism, fascial communication, the art of embodied and/or erotique ritual and sacred sexuality.

I work with individuals looking to

  • unwind trapped trauma in the body stored from unresolved conflict or incidents

  • find or embed authenticity and their sense of self / identity

  • develop and maintain confidence throughout life and its challenges

  • explore embodiment, meditation and the vital euphoria of life

  • live, laugh and love - but for REAL.

My professional background spans the realms of government, charity, health, and academia, providing me with a well-rounded and endlessly transferable skill set.

As a self published author, poet, aspiring songwriter & budding musician I bring a creative and intuitive approach to our sessions, ensuring that our work together is both transformative and engaging.

I've carefully crafted a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can fearlessly explore your sexuality, tap into your innate wisdom, and unlock the joy, pleasure, and connection that lie within. Our work together is a collaborative process, guided by your enthusiastic, embodied, and informed consent every step of the way. My role is to support you in unlearning limiting patterns, reconnecting with your authentic self, and claiming the pleasure that is your birthright.

As a Professional Member of the Association of Certified Sexological Bodyworkers (ACSB) and the Association of Somatic and Integrative Sexologists (ASIS), I strictly follow their ethical codes in all client work. Each session’s modality—whether bodywork or coaching—will be clearly agreed upon in advance, and we won’t switch approaches without a prior, open conversation and your consent. To ensure clarity, I recommend we avoid frequent changes between modalities.

I deeply respect your trust and the sensitive nature of our work. Your confidentiality is paramount: I will never share details of our sessions or even acknowledge our professional relationship, except if there is a risk of harm to you or others, or if you ask me to collaborate with another professional (with your explicit permission).

For my professional growth, I participate in regular supervision and mentoring, where I may discuss our work in general terms but never share identifying details.

If we encounter each other in community spaces or events, I will follow your lead on how we interact, always maintaining your privacy.

My practice is rooted in consent, boundaries, and empowerment, inspired by Betty Martin’s Wheel of Consent. I am mindful of the power dynamics in our relationship and strive to support your autonomy.

To maintain professional boundaries, I do not form personal friendships or romantic relationships with current, potential, or recent clients (for at least one year after our last session).

Kirsty May’s approach is refreshing...I feel like other therapists I’ve seen don’t really listen, they just fit what you say to get to where they want to go...with Kirsty May I get to make my own way.

Kirsty actually helped me. I have had bad experiences with therapists so was wary of trying somatics but Kirsty put me at ease. It was good not to have to talk, instead we got to just feel.
